Here it is September, the nights are getting cooler and the trees are starting to change colors and leaves are falling and the lakes will be turning over (This is when the warm surface water goes to the bottom of the lake and the cold water comes to the surface). This for me is the most exciting time of the year. I'm looking forward to the rainy season!

Red Bluff -- The salmon counters at the Red Bluff Diversion Dam are now seeing as many as 351 salmon in a single day and have tallied 4332 fish as of Wednesday, up more than 20 percent in comparison to this time last year.
