Salmon Release - 2011

Students from Casa Grande High School in Petaluma will be bringing salmon that they have raised from eggs to Tiburon to be released into the San Francisco Bay.  The Students have restored Adobe Creek to a run of Chinook Salmon.  These salmon are 2-3 inches and ready for their journey to the ocean.  Please come and enjoy Music from the Beautiful Losers and Kevin Frazier, many booths with educational games, cast fishing rods with Members of North Bay Trout Unlimited, injoy the BBQ put on by Tiburon Volunteer Fire Department and the cheers of the Redwood High Varsity Cheerleaders.

All of this, as everyone who want to release a salmon will receive a bucket and salmon smolt to set free in the bay.  And the best part about this is event is that admission is Free!!!

Come help us help the salmon return to Adobe Creek.
